Breathwork: Ground Down for the Holidays
The holidays can be a time that bring a lot up… boundaries, lack of boundaries, grief, sadness, stress, agitation, anticipation and a heck of a lot more. We can put a lot of extra stress, as well as expectations on ourselves and others during this season.
Come and breathe and let it all go. The intention for this breathwork group is to genuinely allow and feel what is coming up and move through it with the breath.
We will open the circle, have a quick check-in and then dive into the breath. This will be a 30 minute active breathwork followed with some time for rest and integration.
This group is for any man or woman who is ready to do the work with an open heart and is ready to move through some blocks. A lot of what we are holding isn’t ours to hold. It’s from our parents, from our ancestors and in the lineage. It’s old stories and limiting beliefs that kept us safe when were little. It’s time to feel free, to feel open and to feel more ready to flow and receive.
Breathwork encourages us to fall deeper into our authentic selves. It empowers us to do the work and take our wellness into our hands.
In addition, you’ll leave with the breathwork technique and with a Spotify breathwork playlist so you can continue the healing at home.
What is Breathwork?
Breathwork is an active mediation technique that encourages us to release stress, tap into our feelings and move them through the body and unblock stuck energy. Breathwork leaves us feeling more relaxed, lighter and clearer. It’s a fantastic practice for those looking to relax a little more, trust themselves in deeper ways and practice greater self love.
It’s important that you feel comfortable and held during this time. It can be helpful to wear comfortable clothing, bring a yoga mat, a cozy blanket and anything else that will help you feel supported. No experience is necessary to join this group.
